Stephanie Messas, Esq.

Originally from Marseille, France, Stephanie grew up in a bi-cultural household. She moved to the U.S. in 1997, graduating from Brandeis University (B.A., 2001) and Northeastern School of Law (J.D., 2005). Admitted to the New York Bar in 2006, she gained experience interning at firms like Coudert Frères and clerking for Justice Ramos in New York’s Commercial Division.

Stephanie worked on commercial transactions and in employment law at New York firms before becoming in-house counsel in 2011. In 2020, she founded the Messas Law Practice, focusing on American subsidiaries of foreign companies. Stephanie is also a certified yoga instructor and board member of the French American Chamber of Commerce NY.

Tasneem Ladjal, Esq.

Tasneem is a native French speaker with a multicultural and multidisciplinary background, having lived in the US, Senegal, and Algeria. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of St Andrews (U.K.) and has received legal training in both the U.K. and the U.S., including an LL.M. from Boston College Law School.

Licensed to practice law in New York State, Tasneem began her legal career as an immigration attorney in New York City. Her professional experience spans risk consultancy for multinational corporations operating across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as supporting private sector investment initiatives at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group.
